An environmental festival
In partnership with the Environment and Energy Management Agency (ADEME) and Eco Packaging [Eco Emballages]. From 13 to 17 June 2012, you will find a games information booth on the Prairie des Filtres dedicated to environmental issues with brochures, a photo exhibition, an exhibition entitled "Stages and End Use of Recycled Products " and a "Challenge for the Earth" area.
With your help, these simple, practical citizen actions will make the Eco Loco approach into a pleasantand sustainable experience!
Re-usable cups
In partnership with Ecocup
More practical, tougher and environmentally friendly.
The solid and recyclable glasses used this year at the Rio Loco Festival bars are issued against a recoverable deposit and can be re-used hundreds of times! !!
Why?
Like other events, Rio Loco tries to introduce solutions to reduce its environmental impact.

How it works
Before your first drink, you will be asked to pay a deposit of 1 euro.
When you bring your glass back, you will get your 1 euro deposit back
Making use of recycled paper
Publicity materials (flyers, programmes, etc.) disseminated by the Rio Loco Festival are printed on recycled paper and carry the Imprim’vert label guarantee (management of hazardous waste, ensuring safe storage of hazardous products and prohibiting toxic products in workshops and manufacturing).
Waste sorting
In Partnership with Eco-Packaging [Eco Emballages]It is essential to keep the venue which welcomes us in good condition, so we need your help.
We have been sorting the waste on the Prairie des Filtres since 2005. The amount of waste sorted and sent
along the proper channels increases every year.
Sorted waste containers (plastics, paper and cardboard) and ordinary containers are available to you
on and around the festival site.
We rely on you to use them!!!
Protect your hearing
In partnership with the Avant-Mardi Network, Rio Loco strictly keeps the decibels down.
Ear plugs will be available for your comfort at the entrances to the festival site and at the Information Point.
