FRIDAY 20 JUNE, 21:30
CINEMA-CONCERT
Reviving the joys of the distant past, when cinema was merely flickering black and white images animated by the swing music of a solo pianist, this performance pays tribute to Ladislas Starewitch, pioneer of animated cinema, born to a Polish family in Moscow in 1882, who settled in France after fleeing the Revolution. The group Poum Tchack provides the dark swing.
