Biréli Lagrène and Florin Niculescu form an astonishing duo: benefactors, conveyors of memory and swing music maestros. Biréli Lagrène, a reference in jazz guitar, shows the closeness of his affiliation with Django Reinhardt through his Gipsy Project, to which he has invited Florin Niculescu. A brilliant violinist, born in a gypsy family in Bucharest, he moved to Paris at the beginning of the 1990s. Over the years, this talented young musician, whose virtuosity recalls that of Stéphane Grappelli, met all the great exponents of Manouche-style guitar in France.
