REUSABLE DRINKING GLASSES

At the refreshment stalls for the Rio Loco festival, the glasses used this year (solid and recyclable) can be returned and reused hundreds of times!!!
Why:
Like many other events involving large numbers of people, Rio Loco wants to find innovative ways to reduce its environmental impact.
Economic / Ecologic:
- waste reduced by a factor of 6
- 25 times less polluting than disposable glasses
- a cleaner site
- greenhouse gas emissions reduced by a factor of 3
- breaks the habit of throwing away empty glasses
How does it work:
Before being given your first drink, you will be asked for a deposit of one euro.
When you return your glass, your deposit will be refunded.
